I would suggest getting a cheap OBD reader and scan before you buy. A lot of work can be done by yourself if you're even lightly mechanically inclined so don't be put off by things like worn brakes, etc. ByrdRebuilds and Eric the car guy on YouTube. He is a mechanic and has a ton of videos on repair and maintenance.
